I have a friend in Iraq. I want to send her a care package. She has closer friends and family who can take care of the necessities and her major wants, but I want to give some clever little things.
She quilts. She has two small children.
Any ideas?

If I was some place far from home and all things quilty I'm sure my hands would love something to keep them busy. Could you pre cut some fabrics for nine patches for her to hand piece. A spool of thread, a package of needles, and a pair of small snips could all easily fit into an Altoid tin.
